SBI PO 2018: Probationary Officers [PO] 2000 Vacancies





State Bank of India has released SBI PO 2018 notification on April 21, 2018. SBI recruitment notification 2018 for the selection of SBI PO posts. For that, all candidates are required to register online for apply SBI PO post. SBI PO 2018 exam will be conducted by three steps. Preliminary, Main examinations and Interview. The candidates, who are shortlisted after the SBI PO 2018 preliminary examination only can attend SBI PO main examination. The final shortlisted candidates will be called for interview. Before going to apply SBI PO post, aspirants attentively read and understand the process of SBI PO examinations and interview. SBI PO candidates also read the details about online registration, fee payment, exam patterns, call letters etc.





SBI PO 2018 Examination, Vacancy Details





Total 2000 SBI PO vacancies are available.





  • Scheduled Caste - 300 vacancies
  • Scheduled Tribes - 150 vacancies
  • OBC - 540 vacancies
  • General Quota - 1010 vacancies




Activity Dates





SBI PO call letters for online Preliminary Examination from 18th June 2018. Online Preliminary examination will be held on 1st, 7th & 8th of July 2018. Result of Preliminary online exam will be published on 15.07.2018. Candidates may download Call letter for Online Main Exam from 20.07.2018. Conduct of Online Examination for Main on 04.08.2018. Declaration of Result fro Main exam on 20.08.2018. Candidates can download Call Letter for Interview from 01.09.2018. Conduct of Group Exercises & Interview on 24.09.2018 to 12.10.2018. Final result will be announced on 1st November 2018.





There will be a pre-examination training programme for SC/ ST/ Minority Community candidates. Download call letters for Bank PO SBI pre-examination training from 28th May 2018. Pre-exam training will be held on 18th June 2018 to 23rd June 2018.





SBI PO 2018 Examination Qualifications





A university Degree in any discipline. Final year/ semester students can also apply for SBI PO post.





Age Limit





21 years to 30 years (as on 01.04.2018) can apply for SBI PO bank jobs. Usual age relaxation for SC - 5 years, OBC - 3 years, PWD - 10 to 15 years, Ex Servicemen - 5 years etc.





SBI PO Examination Syllabus 2018





Preliminary Examination





100 marks objective test will be conducted online for SBI PO preliminary examination. Questions will ask from the following sections:
1. English Language - 30 questions, 20 minutes
2. Quantitative Aptitude - 35 questions, 20 minutes
3. Reasoning Ability - 35 questions, 20 minutes





Main Examination





200 marks objective mode and 50 marks descriptive mode test will be held for SBI PO Main Examination.





4 sections 3 hour duration test with the following sections:





1. Reasoning & Computer Aptitude - 45 questions, 60 minutes
2. Data Analysis & Interpretation - 35 questions, 45 minutes
3. General/ Economy/ Banking Awareness - 40 questions, 35 minutes
4. English Language - 35 questions, 40 minutes





SBI PO Application Fee





Rs.100 for SC/ ST/ PWD candidates. Rs.600 for General and OBC candidates

Candidates online can apply through online from 21st April to 13th May 2018. Registered candidates can made fees through online using debit card/ credit card/ Internet Banking.
