Overview of Harmonizer Program for the empowerment of Tijuana Youth
Harmonizer program is an initiative taken by Whitaker Peace and Development Initiative (WPDI) in association with Ericsson which is now its Official technology partner which will help the WPDI in establishing its youth peacemaker network all over the world. The program is led by Forest Whitaker. What is Harmonizer Program? The Harmonizer program is actually an innovative way to avoid conflicts and build peace in life with meditation, skills and yoga. It is an overall wellness program designed for the development of the youth. This program was launched in Mexico, where the volunteers from Ericsson taught students about the effective use of internet and ICT skills. They also discussed about the networked society with students and told them about their role in the society. They also helped them in knowing how technology can affect their lives in the future and how they can use it in community building efforts.
